Periodiske udfald Yousee(mister upload)


Jeg har et lidt mystisk problem fortiden som er kommet inden for den seneste uge.

Har 1000/500 Mbit (modem kører i bridgemode), men oplever udfald om aften/natten. Upstream stopper med at virke og det resultere i at man kan høre hvad folk siger hvis man f.eks. bruger discord, men de kan ikke høre dig(da upload stopper med at virke). Jeg har lige snakket med en yousee medarbejder, men de vil have mig til at resette modemet, men vil dog lige høre om i måske har nogen ide om hvad det kan være? ...Inden jeg resetter modemet!

Hej Claus. Jeg ved ikke om udfaldene i min forbindelse er det samme. Har ikke din tekniske indsigt. Vi er en husstand på 3 med 8 enheder på hjemmets wifi. De seneste uger har der “næsten rutinemæssigt” været 1-2 udfald i internetforbindelse dagligt - ofte formiddag/middag. Forbindelsen kommer igen af sig selv indenfor 2-10 minutter. Nogle gange når vi at genstarte routeren, hvilket ikke altid afhjælper problemet. Der har som regel været mindst én enhed, der streamer TV, når afbrydelsen kommer. Desuden kører vi som regel almindelige kontorsystemer. Jeg er ved at checke, om der er udefrakommende enheder, der har koblet/hacket sig på routeren. Routeren er 2 år gammel. Jeg optimerer den af og til og checker signalstyrken rundt om i huset. Windows Defender mv skulle gerne holde malware ude. Vi har så vidt muligt deaktiveret app aktivitet i baggrunden.

Bruger I 5GHz wifi? Og bruger I en 3890 router? 

Ja og ja. Har lige læst at man måske i højere grad skal bruge 2,5Hz, når man har mange enheder eller lang afstand til router.

Da vi havde en 3890, hjalp det at sætte hastigheden ned på WiFi. Det gjorde alle enheder kunne komme på og mere stabilitet. Vi halverede hastigheden ved at ændre kanal bredden fra 80 til 40. På denne måde bruger man ældre standarder og skaber større kompabilitet. I dag har vi fiber med egen router, men havde det fint med 3890 efter ændring af kanal bredde.

Vi brugte kun 5GHz med 3890.

Tak for svar. Jeg er ikke teknisk anlagt, så det der med at ændre hastighed og kanalbredde bør jeg nok ikke lege med. Jeg har kigget rundt i modemets kontrolpanel, men kan ikke finde noget med at ændre de to ting. Men interessant ny viden for mig.:slight_smile:

Så vidt jeg husker ligger det under Wireless og den enkelte frekvens, men det kræver du (eller en anden) logger ind på routeren. Det er ikke så svært, da det bare er som at bruge en hjemmeside. Forklaring på at komme på er på en lille label på din router. 

Jeg kan godt logge ind i routerens kontrolpaneler, men jeg har ikke fundet det sted, du taler om. Når jeg ikke tør pille ved det, er det jo også lige meget, men her er nogle af mulighederne.

Der er kommet en nyere software til din 3890 router, som jeg desværre ikke kender. Der må være andre med en 3890 router, som kan guide dig med den nye software.
